GOAL

Hockey in Boston borders on religion. A tradition passed on through family. Kasey Murphy was the pride of Watertown, Mass. A budding hockey prodigy, well on her way to fulfilling her dream of making it to the pros, when tragedy struck. Kasey’s father, her greatest champion, lost his fight to cancer. Angry and ravaged by grief, she falls apart. Hanging up her skates and abandoning her dream.

2015, five years later, at twenty seven, Kasey’s an “almost was”. Bartending at her brother’s dive in Watertown, Mass. and taking care of her diabetic, alcoholic mother. Kasey moves from one failed relationship to another, looking down the barrel of an empty future. But life has a way of offering second chances. Into the bar walks an invitation to try out for the first paid women’s hockey league. Scared, intimidated and probably past her prime, Kasey can’t ignore the fire that is rekindled in her blood, calling her back to the ice. If this is going to work, she must wade through her grief over her father and face her complicated relationship with her mother. She has to get back into skating shape. She’ll need a coach and she needs the best. What she gets is a washed up old timer named Gavin O’Shea who’s been living at the bottom of a bottle trying to drown his own painful past. These two broken people need each other if Kasey is going to have a chance. The clock is running down. Time for Kasey to take her last shot.

Set in the blue collar neighborhoods of Boston, Goal is The Fighter on ice. A comeback story of family, healing and hockey.

Falls, Michigan is a little town full of big mysteries that weren’t supposed to be real until one woman decides to dig deeper. What she uncovers is a QAnon wet dream and she must survive underground torture tunnels, elitist murder cults and a global conspiracy to get the answers she’s looking for. It’s a story to crazy to believe…if you live through it.
